Training

Emergency responders and citizens alike will benefit from an understanding of the protocols and procedures used to respond to a variety of emergency situations. More courses will be added here in the future.

If you complete the ICS-100 or IS-22 course modules, and would like to take the test to receive credit, contact your local emergency manager for instructions:

ICS-100 training covers basic incident management. It is required for all first responders, and recommended for any citizen who would like a better understanding of emergency response. ICS 100 Self-paced Training

IS-22 covers the information every citizen needs to know to survive a disaster event. IS 22 Are you prepared? An In-depth Guide to Citizen Preparedness

Training for ICS 300 and 400 is available to authorized emergency responders. Ask your county emergency manager for a user name and password to access the advance training area.

Additional self-paced training courses are also available from the Emergency Management Institute (EMI), a service provided at no cost by the Department of Homeland Security - Federal Emergency Management Agency (DHS - FEMA).
